My last day at Northridge Elementary was bitter-sweet. It was really sad to say goodbye to all the kids. I've really grown to love them these past two years. Here is my classroom all packed-up. I should have thought about taking pictures before I took everything down. I did get quite a few pictures of the kids, but it's against the law to put them on the internet, so unfortunately, I can't post them. It has been a great two years of teaching, but I'm glad it's summer!
We had an interesting Saturday night with a few of our friends. We took a bus tour down to Wendover where we played Bingo and listened to drunk guys singing on the bus. When we got there, we got to eat at a pretty nice buffet. Then we found a hotel that had a swimming pool and sat in the hot tub for a while. Then we had a few hours to kill until the bus came to pick us up at 2:00 in the morning. We got home around 5:30am. Luckily it wasn't our turn to teach sunday school!
We didn't get to take very many pictures on our little get-a-way trip to Mesquite, but one of the days we were there was the big golfing day. Don shot an amazing 89, and Mindi had her introduction to golf, but enjoyed driving the golf cart most.
Don graduated! Here he is standing in front of the Y. I'm so proud of him. Mom and Dad Norris came out and Grandpa and Grandma Marshall came down also. It was a lot of fun! 
After Don's graduation, we had a BBQ for him and Grandma and Grandpa's house. Here is Grandpa showing Don's parents his garden while Don's looking awfully hungry. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa and everyone else who came.
