Pregnancy Up-date

So I've been asked to show off my belly again... so here she is! I have been feeling pretty good lately, I've just been getting uncomfortable. I can't complain too much though because I have had an awesome pregnancy. I've started my weekly doctor's visits and I'm measuring well and everything seems to be looking good. I have a planned date to be induced which is March 30th, the first day of Don's spring break (if she doesn't come earlier). This is my last week of work and I'm definitely ready to be off. We still have a lot to do in preparation, but we are very anxious for her to come. We really appreciate all that everyone has done for us and your thoughts, prayers and concerns. We are doing very well and are really excited.

New Car and a Snow Storm

Don and I have been sharing our little 92' Honda Accord for about two years now. Don takes the bus to and from school while I take the car to work. Since gas prices have gone down, it's more expensive to take the bus and with a little one on the way, we've been keeping our eyes open for a great deal on a reliable car. Well...we sure found one! We got an 05' Honda Pilot at the auction that just came out of a three year lease and has really low mileage. The interior looks amazing (which is the important part to me) and the exterior is really nice too (which is important to Don). Don will start driving one of the cars to school as soon as he uses all his bus passes. Too bad he has to keep walking to the bus stop while it's still a little cold outside. I'm glad he'll get to drive soon...I've always felt a little bad for him.

It snowed today for the first time! It's probably already melted, but it was fun while it lasted and we got to sleep -in because church was canceled.

I Passed!

So after months of training, tests, work, practice, stress and preparation, I finally took the final step in getting my official cosmetology license and took the practical exam. I was so nervous and stressed out. I NEVER want to do that again. I'm so glad it's over. But...it's official and I am so grateful I've had this opportunity and that I was able to do it before the baby came.

All packed and ready to go take the test... did I mention how glad I am that it's over?

Baby Shower

I had the most amazing baby shower! I had the greatest time . The food, the company , the decorations, where all superb...and the gifts were pretty amazing (and very appreciated) too. My sister-in-law, Jill headed it up and was so gracious to have it at her house while my friends Kate and Missy did a lot of work throwing it as well. Many others as well as family members all contributed with decorations, food, etc. I hope you all know how much I appreciate all you did for me and how much I loved it. Thank you all so much!

Kate and Afton flew all the way from Utah to spend some time with me and come and help with the shower. I loved having them here!

What's a baby shower without a diaper cake? Isn't it an amazing one?

Can you believe all the gifts? I definitely got showered!

This is the baby's room where we put all the presents. We are excited to eventually get a crib and dresser and be able to put everything away.

This is just one of the little outfits we got. Corinne is going to be one cutely dressed baby! I am beyond excited!

Everyone, thank you again for all that you have done to help us prepare for our little Corinne.
